Moritz Zeller: Scaffold NET 50
“Scaffold NET 50” is the name of a fabric, which is fixed to a facade of rundown buildings to save people from parts falling down on the street. The book shows a collection of buildings in Leipzig, that are covered with this blue fabric.
The fabric does not always cover the entire building. Depending on the state of the facade, there is sometimes just a small part of it covered. In this way different forms of blue fabric are occuring in the city scape.
The book shows just these blue forms, seperated from the house itself. On the back cover you can find an index of all houses. The forms were screen-printed on thin-print paper, preserving the original translucency effect in the publication. The cover is made out of the original fabric.
